Welcome back to school!!!

Starting back to school this year, I will begin my favorite book during READ ALOUD time...."Wayside Stories from Wayside School." This book is always a popular one with fifth graders. What do you think? Who is your favorite classmate in this book and why? Would you like to attend Wayside School?

What good books have you been reading this summer? Please let me know if you recommend any for me to read aloud to next year's fifth graders. Right now, I'm reading "Absolutely, Normal Chaos." A really funny, summer one...you girls would love it!!!
